VOICE-OVER FAQs


What voices are available?

Our sound team is based in the UK, so we currently offer adult British English male and female voices.

How long will it take?

Depending on the length, complexity, and amount of sound effects/music, voice-overs usually take between 24 and 72 hours to produce. Once we receive your finalized script, we will contact you with an estimate.

How much do corrections and changes cost?

Corrections to a voiceover are free. If we mispronounce a word, or miss out something from your script, we will correct this at no charge. Editing is also free. If you decide you want to use less of your script, and we can edit it out without needing to re-record, there’s no charge. If you wish to replace or add to your script, then re-recording is necessary, which is chargeable at our normal rates.

Can you add effects to the voice?

Yes. Special effects on the voice (echo, telephone, etc) can be added at no extra charge.

Can you give creative guidance about delivery, pacing, and content?

Yes. Our creative consultancy is free, if you request it. Alternatively, we can just follow your instructions. It's your choice.

Can you add sound effects and custom music?

Sound effects
Yes. Sound effects in addition to the voice are chargeable. The price is negotiable depending on their complexity.

Custom music
Yes. Custom background music composed specially for your project, and licensed exclusively to you, is also available. This costs US$100 per minute of finished music. There is no additional charge for any reasonable adjustments. We want you to be completely satisfied with your music.

What file format will the voiceover be delivered in?

Voice-overs can be delivered via download in any audio file format. We will send a highest-quality (320kbps) mp3 file unless you ask us to use a different format.

I see prices for voice-overs up to 2,000 words, but my script is longer. Can you record it?

Yes! If your script is over 2,000 words, please email us to negotiate a price.
