How does this music store work?
- Listen to music previews in the mp3 gallery
- Follow the 'buy' link in the gallery, or select a category from the menu above.
- Choose the music you want by adding it to your cart.
- Select show cart on the right-hand menu, then select 'checkout'.
- Payments are handled securely by PayPal, but you don't need a PayPal account to buy music from our store. You can use your bank account or credit card.
What's the difference between personal and pro music?
Pro music can be broadcast and used commercially, without paying royalties. Personal music is for private listening, for instance on your mp3 player. Click here to read the pro music license, or click here to read the personal music license.
Do I get a CD or a download?
We're not currently selling physical CDs. The music will be delivered to you via download in high-quality mp3 format. Depending on the content, our mp3 files are encoded between 128-320kbps: the product description will tell you the encoding rate.
The previews in the mp3 gallery sounded fuzzy. Will the music I buy sound like that?
No, the commercial mp3s are crystal clear. The previews are deliberately lower quality. Unlike the commercial mp3s, the previews also have an occasional voice to deter illegal copying.
When will I get my music?
Once your payment is received, you'll receive an automated email containing your unique download ID. This normally happens instantly, but please allow up to 12 hours for processing. Click the link in the email, log in to the store with your username, then download your music.What if I don't have time to download the file right away?
There's no rush. Your download ID remains valid until you use it.I downloaded a zip file. Where's my mp3?
The zip file is a container. Double-click the zip file and drag the mp3 into whichever folder you want to store it on your computer. Users of older Macs may need the MacZip utility.Are you going to send me spam mail?
